When is WWDC 2023?

WWDC 2023 hasn’t yet been announced. If it takes place in the first full week of June, as it has traditionally, it will occur June 5 through 9. If it follows past formats, the keynote will begin at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on June 5th. The conference, like last year, will likely be a virtual event.

How to Register and Attend WWDC

The Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) is always free to attend online, with a free stream of the event directly from Apple’s website. WWDC 2023 will be the next time you can attend the event.

What We Know So Far

There are also improvements coming to Spatial Audio that allow for personalization of audio on AirPods.

iPadOS 16

watchOS 9 has several new clock faces to choose from. Its fitness app now comes with Running Form Metrics. In addition, it offers enhanced health capabilities including Sleep Stages and a Medications app.

macOS Ventura

A new operating system, MacOS Ventura, comes with several new apps, such as Stage Manager, which lets you focus on the app you’re using without distractions. Spotlight gets a boost and now allows quick look. It can also search images and live text, and run a timer. Also enhanced are the performance of Safari and expanded features for Mail, which offers undo send, scheduled send, follow up, remind me, and a more powerful search function.

New MacBooks Powered by M2

The new M2 chip takes Apple’s power-efficiency focus even further than the M1. It offers 100GBs of unified bandwidth, 24GBs of memory, an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and a next-gen media machine. The MacBook Air with the new M2 boasts a thin, durable, all-aluminum design and weighs only 2.7 lbs. It comes in silver, space gray, starlight, and midnight. It has a 13.6" liquid retina display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, 3-mic array, 4-speaker sound system, and Force Touch trackpad.
